Description

Inspired by the majestic Douglas fir that presides over the crest of Bluffs Park, her arms reaching out to embrace all her visitors, ocean breezes, birds and the families that love to gather around her for a photo.  Active Pass sparkles in the distance inviting the viewer to explore the islands that border it’s path.

The Bluffs Park Nature Protection area, named for the magnificent 300 ft shoreline ‘bluffs’ located there, was created in 1948 through a land donation by Max and Marion Enke and the financial donations of many islanders.
