Description
At the forest edge, where the survivors grow, we find Garry oaks and Rose campion sharing the ocean view. The Garry oaks are taken from a community of oaks on Galiano Island and the Rose campion bordered path from the forest edge at Bluffs Park on Galiano Island.
While creating this painting I was thinking about their challenges (wind, drought, poor soil) that they have overcome through the power of their community!
