Description
From the bluff at Mount Norman on Pender Island, forested islands and winding channels stretch across the horizon beneath a vast shifting sky. Grasses and small firs cling to the rocky slope in the foreground while light moves across the water below. In this small painting, I wanted to capture the feeling of standing high above the islands, watching the sky become the true landscape.
