A windswept Garry oak stands along the ridge of Oaks Bluff on Pender Island, its twisting branches shaped by years of coastal wind and weather. These remarkable trees hold a special place in my heart, their wild, sculptural forms dancing with the wind. In this small painting, I wanted to capture the spirit of this resilient tree and the quiet beauty of the bluff at sunset.
