Description
Painted from a favourite spot above Active Pass, with Sphinx and Charles Islands in the distance, this view is one I return to again and again.
The arbutus leans out over the water, shaped by years of wind coming through the channel. Below, the current moves steadily between the islands, always changing, always alive.
It’s a place I go to pause for a while—to watch the water, feel the breeze, and take in that wide, open sense of being right at the edge of it all.
