There is something magical about the arbutus trees at Matthew’s Point. They reach and twist toward the light, leaning so far over the beach that their smooth, winding branches are within reach.
This arbutus grows low over the shore—just the right height to stop and linger for a long hug. I love these beautiful light seekers, shaped by the wind and sea and always reaching.
